NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee positions, candidates must hold the following qualifications:

Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN)-Operator
HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 50% marks. English as one of the subject at SSC level.

Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN)-Maintainer
SSC (10th) with minimum 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in relevant trade (Electrician/ Fitter/ Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Machinist/ Turner/ Welder). For trades with ITI courses lasting less than 2 years, candidates must have at least one year of relevant work experience after completing the course.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit

1. Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes - 5 Years
2. Other Backward Class (Non Creamy Layer) - 3 Years
3. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) -UR/EWS - 10 Years
4. PwBD Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe - 15 Years
5. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) - Other Backward
6. Class (Non-Creamy layer) - 13 Years
7. Dependants of those who died in riots of 1984 (Dep. 1984) - 5 Years
8. Dependants of Defence Persons Killed in Action (DODPKIA) - 5 Years
9. Ex-servicemen (after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date) - 3 Years
10. Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried (Only on production of certified copy of the judgement / decree of the appropriate Court to prove that the fact of divorce or the judicial separation). - Upto the age of 35 years (upto 40 years for members of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) but no relaxation in educational qualification or method of recruitment.
