IBPS Probationary Officers Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/ Citizenship

A candidate must be one of the below
1. Citizen of India
2. Subject of Nepal
3. ubject of Bhutan
4. Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
5. Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2, 3, 4, and 5 above must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.


IBPS Probationary Officers Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification (as on 21/08/2024)
Graduation Degree

To be eligible for the IBPS CRP exam, candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. Candidates with equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government are also eligible to apply.

Candidates must have a valid mark sheet or degree certificate confirming their graduation status on the day they register for the exam and must indicate their percentage of marks obtained during registration for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.

Computer Literacy

Working knowledge of computer systems is necessary both for the job and to take the IBPS PO exam, which is conducted online.

Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 30 years
i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2004 (both
dates inclusive).

Relaxation of Upper age limit
1. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe - 5 years

2. Other Backward Classes (Non- creamy layer) - 3 years

3. Persons With Benchmark Disability as defined under “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016” - 10 years

4. Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year from the last date of receipt of application) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalidment, subject to ceiling as per Government guidelines - 5 years

5. Persons affected by 1984 riots - 5 years

IBPS Probationary Officers Recruitment 2024 Application Fees & Intimation Charges

Application Fees/ Intimation Charges [Payable from 01.08.2024 to 21.08.2024 (Only online payment), both dates inclusive] shall be as follows
SC/ST/PwBD candidates - Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST)
All Others - Rs. 850 /- (inclusive of GST)

Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidates
