Mode of Selection:
Candidates applying for the Peon post must first take a 100-mark written test, consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions (2 marks each) on general knowledge, awareness, current affairs, and numerical ability. The test, with no negative marking, will be in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, lasting 90 minutes. A minimum of 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% for reserved categories is required to qualify for the next stage.
After the written test, candidates up to 10 times the advertised vacancies (category-wise, except PWD) will be called for a qualifying Physical Endurance Test, which includes an 800-meter race, long jump, and high jump.
E-Admit Card
E-Admit Cards for provisionally eligible candidates will be uploaded on the High Court's official website. Candidates will also be notified via email/SMS. They can download and print their E-Admit Cards from
www.highcourtchd.gov.in.
Date of Examination:
The examination date will be announced on the official website of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh (
www.highcourtchd.gov.in). Candidates are advised to visit the website regularly for updates.
