Punjab & Haryana High Court Peon Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification
Candidates must have a minimum qualification of middle standard and a maximum of 10+2 from a recognized school education board or school. Candidates with qualifications higher than the maximum specified will not be eligible for direct recruitment.

- Minimum Age: Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Maximum Age: Candidates should not exceed 35 years of age.
- Age relaxation is applicable according to the prescribed rules.
- General/ SC/ ST/BC of Areas/States other than Punjab, Haryana, and U.T. Chandigarh: Rs. 700/-
- SC/ST/BC of Areas/States of Punjab, Haryana, and U.T. Chandigarh/ Ex-Serviceman/ PWD: Rs. 600/-

Mode of Selection:
Candidates applying for the Peon post must first take a 100-mark written test, consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions (2 marks each) on general knowledge, awareness, current affairs, and numerical ability. The test, with no negative marking, will be in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, lasting 90 minutes. A minimum of 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% for reserved categories is required to qualify for the next stage.
After the written test, candidates up to 10 times the advertised vacancies (category-wise, except PWD) will be called for a qualifying Physical Endurance Test, which includes an 800-meter race, long jump, and high jump.
E-Admit Card
E-Admit Cards for provisionally eligible candidates will be uploaded on the High Court's official website. Candidates will also be notified via email/SMS. They can download and print their E-Admit Cards from www.highcourtchd.gov.in.

The examination date will be announced on the official website of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh (www.highcourtchd.gov.in). Candidates are advised to visit the website regularly for updates.
