ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Chennai, has announced a recruitment drive for Full-time/Part-time Super Specialist positions on a contractual basis. Eligible and interested candidates are invited to attend the walk-in interview, which takes place on the third Thursday of every month. For August 2024, the interview is scheduled for August 22.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification

1. The candidate must possess an MBBS degree along with an MD/MS/DNB from a Medical College/Institution recognized by the MCI/NMC.
2. They must have completed DM/MCh in the relevant Super Specialty from an MCI/NMC recognized Medical College or hold a DNB in the concerned super specialty or an equivalent qualification.
3. The candidate should be registered with either the MCI/NMC or a State Medical Council.
4. A minimum of five years of experience in the relevant specialty is required after obtaining the first Postgraduate degree.
5. The Academic Qualification in the department of Reproductive Medicine & Surgery is detailed as below:

Academic Qualifications	Teaching & Research Experience
DM/MCh/DNB in the concerned subject	Five years’ experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining the First Post Graduate degree
During Transition Period MD/MS/DNB in the concerned Broad Specialty subject	Special Training for three years in the respective new super specialty subject in a teaching institution/center of Excellence with dedicated service in that specialty.

Salary for the Post of Full Time / Part Time Super Specialist

For Full Time Super Specialists:

1. Super Specialist (Entry Level) - Rs. 2,00,000/- (Consolidated remuneration) per month.
2. Consultant (Senior Level) - Rs. 2,40,000/- (Consolidated remuneration) per month.

For Part Time Super Specialists:

(Duty Hours : 04 hours per day & 04 days in a week)

1. Super Specialist (Entry Level) - Rs. 1,00,000/- (Consolidated remuneration) per month for 04 hours per day & 04 days in a week.
2. Consultant (Senior Level) - Rs. 1,50,000/- (Consolidated remuneration) per month for 04 hours per day & 04 days in a week.

In addition Rs. 20, 000/- per month for visiting charge in case of emergency visit and Rs. 1200/- for every additional hour of Super Specialist (Entry Level) and Rs. 1500/- for every additional hour of Consultant (Senior Level).
