Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification

Group C
Passed 10+2 (+2stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks
Technical Post: Matriculation/ SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/ SCVT (OR) Matricualation/ SSLC plus course completed act apprenticeship

Group D
Civil Engg, Mech, Elect & S&T
10th Passed + National Apprenticeship Certificate(NAC) granted by NCVT (OR) 10th Pass + ITI
For other Department
10th Pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate(NAC) granted by NCVT


Scouting Qualification for Group 'C & 'D' Vacancies

1. A President Scouts/Guide/Rover/Ranger or Himalaya Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
2. Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 years. The Certificate of Activeness should be as per Annexure-I.
3. Should have attended two events at National level OR All Indian Railway's level and Two events at State level.

Northern Railway Scouts, Guides Quota Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

Group C & D - 18 to 30 years (for UR) Plus 5 years for SC/ST and 3 Years for OBC
The minimum and maximum age limits will be calculated as of January 1, 2025.
Age relaxation for categories listed in below para 3.0 as indicated against each will be applicable.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes - Rs. 250/-
Other Candidates - Rs. 500/-
