Gratification/rewards
  1. Trophies to the winner and runner-up/s.
  2. Participation certificate for the shortlisted candidates.
  3. Souvenir to the winner/s, runner up/s and the shortlisted candidates.
  4. Any statutory taxes, duties, or levies as may be applicable from time to time, arising out/ in respect of such prize, shall be payable by the Winner of the respective Prize.
Entry and Eligibility
  1. Entries must be submitted through the online entry form available on the Supreme Court website (www.sci.gov.in) and MyGov (https://innovateindia.mygov.in/).
  2. Hackathon 2024 is open to organizations (firms, companies, academic institutions) and startups in India with expertise in IT and AI.
  3. Solutions must be AI-based, unique, innovative, and compliant with Supreme Court Rules, 2013. They must address the provided problem statement and should not have been used elsewhere.
  4. Entries must be in English and submitted as prescribed in the form.
  5. Incomplete or inaccurate entries, or those submitted after the deadline, may be invalid. Acceptance of such entries is at the sole discretion of the Supreme Court.
  6. The Supreme Court reserves the right to permit or restrict participation.

Intellectual Property and Rights
  1. Entries protected by intellectual property rights are acceptable; however, the Supreme Court is not responsible for protecting proprietary or confidential information.
  2. Participants retain intellectual property rights to their ideas.
  3. Participants must own all rights or have the necessary licenses for their submissions and must provide confirmation upon request.
  4. Submissions must be original and must not infringe on any third-party rights. The Supreme Court is not liable for any intellectual property breaches.
  5. Participants grant the Supreme Court the right to use their names, images, and submissions for advertising and publicity without additional compensation or approval.

General Terms
  1. The rules are governed by Indian law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
  2. Manipulation or unfair practices will result in disqualification. The Supreme Court reserves the right to change, cancel, or suspend the Hackathon at any time.
  3. The Supreme Court is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from participation or changes to the Hackathon.
  4. The Supreme Court is not liable for any disruptions or cancellations beyond its control.
  5. Decisions of the Supreme Court are final and binding.
  6. The Supreme Court can alter the rules or terminate the Hackathon without prior notice or liability.
  7. Participants agree that the Supreme Court can use submitted responses and details for publications and promotional material without prior approval.
  8. No costs will be covered by the Supreme Court for any work carried out by participants during the Hackathon.
